    Hi Lions4Yeshua,

It sounds like you've updated your iMac to the latest operating system, which is OS X El Capitan version 10.11 and now some of your games are not working. Is that right?   When you did the upgrade, any applications that were not compatible with El Capitan were moved to a folder called Incompatible Software on your Mac.

About incompatible software on your Mac

When you upgrade OS X, or when you migrate your content to a new Mac, software that's known to be incompatible with the new version of OS X is set aside and won’t run on your updated system.

During the upgrade or migration process, OS X creates an Incompatible Software folder at the top level startup drive of your Mac. Software known to be incompatible with the new version of OS X is placed in this folder. You can look in this folder to see the applications that were set aside.

If you want to use one of these incompatible apps, you need to get an updated version that's compatible with your new OS. Apps in the Mac App Store list their compatibility and system requirements on their product pages. You can also check with the app developer to find out if they have a new, compatible version or plan to release one.

Note: PowerPC applications won't run on OS X Mavericks and later.

Check to see if you can find the application on the Mac App Store in the Purchased or Update tabs.  If an update is available for your game, you can update your software here.  If an update is not available, you can contact the software developer or search the app store for a similar game.

    Third Party Applications

To get support for other applications purchased from the Mac App Store, please contact the developer directly. The developer's contact information can be found on the Mac App Store app product page.

    Take care,
