I am installing Windows 10 on an iMac (on the verified list of compatible iMacs) using the downloadable windows 10 iso from Microsoft. I have a new Windows 7 Pro license. I have successfully installed Windows 10 via Boot Camp. And, during the installation, it asked for and accepted the Windows 7 Pro license keys I have. However, I found that the "Activation" would not work after I had it all fully installed with everything, so far, working fine. Completed 2 separate installs on 2 identical iMacs...using separate license keys of course.
I went through the Activation process and it failed on both iMacs, instructing me to call for activation. When I called to activate it, tech support was unable to resolve my issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
