Nov 4, 2014 1:50 PM in response to ds storeby Geophys,I have the same issue and have had it since 10.7 (but I'm only now getting around to dealing with it). Unfortunately, the Keychain Access utility found no errors with my keychains.
Does anyone have any other suggestions, please?

Jan 4, 2016 3:15 PM in response to sebman93by vishu reddy,I had the same issue but with El Capitan 10.11.2 I tried recommendations from many blogs but non solved them.
Finally this solved my issue:
When you see the pop up "accountsd wants to use login keychain"
Open the Activity monitor and look for accountsd process and force quit it.
This solved it.

Jan 12, 2016 8:39 PM in response to sebman93by ald13,(Here is what I discovered after reading several more Apple community threads after posting my recent comment.)
What worked for me tonight was to simply click the locked Lock button on the top left corner of the Keychain Access window, which prompted me to enter an "iCloud helper" password, which was my usual Mac laptop account login password not my iCloud password. From what I can tell of reading several articles, when you log into your laptop, it opens or unlocks that Lock for the Keychain Access, allowing apps and whatnot access to the passwords you've saved. When something locks it back, whether you did it on accident, or something else changed it, I'd suggest checking their first to make sure that lock is unlocked.

May 23, 2016 3:26 PM in response to ald13by beaminup,I found this to solve my problem. I unlocked the local items on the Keychain Access app. When I clicked cancel on the popup it stopped nagging me. And all the other services that were requesting access also stopped.
