Q: MacBook restored itself, how do I retrieve my information?
okay, so i have a mid 2009 MacBook Pro 13" it was running the Yosemite OS. So this morning I turned it on to see it has been restored. It asked me to reinstall yosmite OS. I restored the previous OS. Well it must n have finished because I can't get past the lock screen. Now how can I retrieve the information that was on it previously? (Photos, videos, MP3's ECT.) I can't get past the lock screen so I will have to take it into apple to get them to finish the OS configuration. Will they be capital or retrieving my previous information, on it post restore? The files haven't been overwritten, because I havent even gotten as far as the home screen. can it be restored?
Also it only has 2GB of ram. it's not the quickest. What would be the best memory cards to buy for installation? I'm thinking 2 stick of 8GB.
