Q: Can I cancel the membership after three months and not pay the 9.99 if I don't like it

I Am curious because I want to try the new music thing. But I'm not sure I'll like it. And I want to try if while it has a free trial. Can I cancel after the trail and have it not charge me? Or do I still pay 9.99?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2

    If you want to start the free trial it is important to note that you need to have a credit card saved on your Apple ID otherwise the app wont let you sign up for it.

     

    Apple will "charge" you a bill for $0.00 for 3 months, if you cancel your subscription during that 3 month period you will not be charged any money but let's say that you sign in today on Jan 7th, your last free day will be March 6th, because on March 7th you will be charged with the $9.99 monthly cost.
