Jan 7, 2016 2:58 AM in response to JustusRonaldBOby turingtest2,The obvious question would be "What has this got to do with Apple Support?"
However given that both http://topsy.com and http://www.topsy.com redirect to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201285=Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support your question becomes more interesting, although strictly speaking still off topic. A little hunt on the web archive shows things went wrong at topsy.com on the 15th or 16th of December. This is the last snapshot of the site at it used to look: https://web.archive.org/web/20151215190809/http://topsy.com/ - why it is redirecting to a random Apple support document is beyond my ken. I guess whoever owns and runs the domain has dropped the ball.

Assume wrong, amigo - Forbes published an article two years ago!

looks more like another of the "behind the curtain" services SNAFUs that have been reported lately (??)

Jan 7, 2016 8:34 AM in response to ChitlinsCCby turingtest2,Interesting. Well if they bought it for the underlying IP and wanted to drop the service itself they made a hash of closing it down gracefully. If it is still supposed to be up then somebody isn't keeping their eye on the ball.
Thanks KT.

Jan 7, 2016 8:58 AM in response to turingtest2by ChitlinsCC,perhaps it was purchased for the "technology" - rolled into iOS 9.x for term search and Siri to use? The redirect is a not so subtle HINT!
