Q: 'Done' but no Transaction Received
I have a BA American Express Credit Card registered with Apple Pay, everytime I attempt to use it the process seems to work correctly up until the point when the iPhone says 'Done'. Sometimes it confirms the transaction within Passbook, other times it will not, but either way the transaction never takes place and no payment is received by the store. The phone then goes back to the homescreen, where the process can be repeated to no avail.
I have registered a debit card with the phone and that is working perfectly through apple pay, in the same store, on the same contactless payment point, I receive the bleep and the vibration notification as the transaction goes through so it is definitely not a problem with the handset. I have spoken with American Express and they claim it is definitely not a problem their end and that Apple Pay is at fault because they don't see any evidence of the transaction being received. I have deleted and readded the Amex card, upgraded to the latest software release, reset the phone and powered off and on etc.
Anyone know what I can try next to put this right?
