Q: iBook doesn't show my pdfs

hi there,

since I've synced my ipad, I'm having several difficulties. My pdfs are not being shown in my iBooks. I can see them on my iTunes (installed on my laptop) under "device" tab. But under ibook section (above device section), when i check the sync box, it says that there's no book. Even I can't delet the books i can see on the itunes. the prob is that I can't see my pdfs on my iPad iBooks.

IN addition, I can't see my iPhone photos on my iPad although I've set to be synced.

Thanks

Behrooz

    Hello there, behbal.

It sounds like you're not seeing PDF content synced over to your iPad although they are showing in iTunes. The following Knowledge Base article has some great steps and information to review for troubleshooting:

Use iBooks with PDF documents on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

    Sync and save PDFs

To add PDFs to your iTunes library on your computer, drag and drop the PDF into your iTunes Book library. If you're using OS X Mavericks or later, drag and drop your PDFs into your iBooks library using iBooks for Mac.

If you are using Manually Manage Music or Videos, disable the option in the Syncing Summary tab.

To sync a PDF from your computer to iBooks on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

    1. Select your iOS device. (Learn how to sync your data with iTunes.)
    2. Click the Books tab.
    3. Select Sync Books.
    4. If iTunes is set to sync only selected books, select the checkbox next to the PDF you want to sync.
    5. Click Sync.

You can also use iTunes to back up your PDF files so that they will restore to your iOS device after you update or restore your software or transfer information to a different device. To transfer PDFs to your computer and back them up, transfer purchases from your iOS device to your computer. These files are not in an iTunes Backup. Learn more about what's contained in iTunes and iCloud backups.

    HI Pedro,

many thanks for your response. However, it doesn't work. I see the pdfs in my iTunes, but can't delete them, cant do anything with them. When I try to sync, it says that there's no book to sync. When i purchase a book, I can't open it in my iBooks on the iPad. The stranger issue is that i can see and open it on my iPhone when i download it on my iPad!! On my iPad, it stops on downloading state. But about other books i had, I can't see on my iphone, just the new purchased book can be seen on iPhone. Weird!! Don't know what to do.
