Sep 21, 2015 9:41 PM in response to Greg schneiderhan1by sberman,★HelpfulDo you mean the slide over bar?
Click on "iPad Experience" near the top here:

Also see this article. Note as it says, if you don't care for slide over, you can turn it off at Settings > General > Multitasking > Allow Multiple Apps = "Off"

Oct 31, 2015 8:35 AM in response to sbermanby tsukinoko,That side-bar was so ANNOYING.
It just kept sliding into view everytime I slightly swiped from right to left from the right-hand side of the screen.
In the middle of games and searches and whatnot...
THANK YOU!!!

Jan 9, 2016 10:57 AM in response to Greg schneiderhan1by sophsterm,Same issue. I didn't even know what the heck to call it to search for it to disable it. So freakin annoying. It keeps popping up when I don't need it and gets in the way. Even if I did want it I don't know how to purposely activate it, only by accident. By now, I,no annoyed with it interfering with what Im dKing, crap, like just now, that I don't want to use it. Thank you for letting me disable it. Try some more usability testing in real users before enabling such an annoying feature or check what the communities are saying and maybe ask the user if she wants this and tell her what the heck it is. Whatever it is, I don't want it. At least now I discovered this video playing in the background Feature that's been annoying. I don't mind it showing up at the same time in a small box, but when the video keeps playing when I've exited the screen entirely, and all I hear is audio, that is annoying. I cant even find it to stop it. It's great that you have discoverable feature but sometimes leaving them undiscovered is best. We don't know or care what we are missing. Thank you, Apple. Now quit messing with something that just ain't broke!!
