There is presently no option to turn off Time Travel.
You can suggest that Apple adds this as an option (all feedback is read, but you should not expect to receive a reply):
https://www.apple.com/feedback/watch.html
You can use a watch face that does not offer time-adjusted information (Motion, Time Lapse, Photo, Photo Album, X-Large). To switch between watch faces, when viewing the current watch face: press firmly on the display > swipe left / right between options > tap on one to use it.

Jan 9, 2016 3:37 PM in response to tbone2233by tnhdrn,I had this question, as well, and have sent a request to the development team to consider a feature to turn on/turn off or enable/disable time travel, for ALL of the faces. I purchased my Apple watch to be a smart watch, and complications are useful for me - hence I utilize the faces that offer those. Simple actions such as putting on a jacket or accidentally twisting the Digital Crown when pressing it, causes time travel to be initiated. This happens, on average, 5-6 times per day for me as I put on or take off a jacket... Then the time has to be reset - every single time - before I can continue on with using my watch or activities. This is very annoying and inconvenient.
Thank you, Jonathan UK, for the link to request features.

To clarify: it is not necessary to turn the Digital Crown again to reset the time.
Instead, either:
- Press the Digital Crown once, or;
- Tap on the blue time offset indicator (which appears when you use Time Travel).
Doing either of these immediately returns the watch face to the current time.

Jan 10, 2016 6:52 AM in response to Jonathan UKby tnhdrn,Thank you, Jonathan UK! I was aware of how to reset the time by pressing the Digital Crown once... however, many people (myself included) must have some "spin" to their touch, so the first method can be laborious.
But I was not aware of the second method. Thank you so much for sharing. That will help some of us that are plagued with this feature.
