Q: Bluetooth connection between iPhone and iPad
My iPhone 6 will not connect to my iPad using bluetooth.
I have earlier used bluetooth connection between my iphone and iPad in order to connect the iPad to the internet. Despite both devices were listed among the recognized bluetooth devices and they have earlier been linked/paired, it was not possible to make a connection.
Performing the recommended actions from apple support in order to repair/relink - 1. turn off/on bluetooth, 2. turn off/on the device, 3. removing the iPhone/iPad bluetooth connections - 4. reset of network settings - 5. reset of all settings - nothing works.
The iPhone/iPad devices does not even appear on the bluetooth list of available devices on neither the iPhone nor the iPad. All that happens is the busy icon is spinning all the time.
Removing a connection to a bluetooth speaker/amp device and starting the pairing procedure from the speaker/amp device did make a new connection.

iPad:

Please give instructions for retaining the earlier working bluetooth connection between iPhone and iPad.
Thank you in advance

Make sure the Personal Hotspot option is turned on before you attempt to pair them over bluetooth. Otherwise it will not work.
