Q: MBPr 2015 wake issues

I'm having issues when waking my MBPr 2015 in the morning. I'll open the lid and the screen will appear but the mouse pointer takes another 15-20 seconds to appear. When it does, I am unable to use the trackpad or magic mouse to click and open anything. The time and date also appear to be frozen to the time I closed the lid the night prior.

Using a new MBP 2015, iOS X 10.11.2
