Jan 12, 2016 5:27 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by jim8147,Thanks for the response Chris. This is the only official response I can find from Apple on the 9.2 IOS update:
There is no mention of the IPAD PRO issue. I would hate to spend that kind of money and have to "force restart it" all the time. Maybe I am over-reacting. You seem quite active in the support community...have you seen this problem come up a lot?

Jan 12, 2016 5:46 PM in response to jim8147by Michael Black,My iPad Pro has never experienced this. I plug and unplug it at will all the time, at work and home, even in my car, and never had an issue with it. I know at least five other people with iPad Pro's who have never experienced this. Where did you read it is a "hardware issue"?

Feb 25, 2016 1:01 PM in response to jim8147by Ms Private,I purchased the iPad Pro and it worked fine for three days. On the third day, the battery was running low so I plugged it in to charge. The iPad would not recognize the connection and wouldn't charge. I tried a hard reset and it did nothing but bring up a picture of an empty battery with a lightning symbol which means to plug it in. After doing online research and speaking with Apple Support, I found out there is a software glitch causing this problem that Apple is currently investigating. I also found out that there is an issue with the latest update (which does not apply to my situation because I did not do an update).
I returned the iPad Pro, the case, and the Apple Care for a full refund. I did not want to do an exchange until Apple resolves the software issues. What really stinks is that I turned in my second generation iPad which was working fine. Now I am without an iPad.
