Q: How do I get all of the songs on my iPhone into my iTunes library on my Macbook Pro?

How do I get all of the songs on my iPhone into my iTunes library on my Macbook Pro? I already tried signing in and it didn't work and i connected my phone to the computer and that didn't work either.
