I have a new Apple 6 Plus which has suddenly decided that my Gmail settings need my password. I changed my password last week, and it has been working perfectly since until today. Now when I try to use it it's not accepted.

It was suggested that I power down the phone, and when I turned it back on it would be fine.

Not!

What to do?

Delete the account and re-add it under settings. Settings>Mail, Contacts, and Calendars> tap account>delete the account. -AJ

This support document should help you with adding the account back to the device. Otherwise, as AJ states, come on back and someone will help you out. Add an email account on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
