I understand that you are have some concerns about the temperature on your MacBook Pro. Let's go over some information to either fix or clear this up.
I know that if you use a third party utility that it is not registering the right temperature. But if you feel that you need to figure out what is going on, you might want to start with looking at Activity Monitor. This will help you isolate apps that may be using a lot of CPU processing.
