    "Help me! I bought the MacBook 13-inch, Early 2008 Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63) as an upgrade?

    I do not like that many programs do not like the new version of Skype, because it requires more the

    latest software. I came to the App Store and unfortunately OS El Capitan, provides that this version

    can not be installed on my computer!

    Tell me what are the options do and sit on this old Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5..."

    from https://translate.google.com

    ...Sadly, there appears to be few or no option, when Skype older version won't work in older OS X;

    since the version OS X in your vintage MacBook (2006-2010 old macbook) is as new as it gets...

    The hardware pre-dates several later versions of OS X; so they cannot work in there.

    Perhaps another reader may know of other options. Sorry to not be more helpful.

    Good luck & happy computing, nonetheless!

    From 'translate' I see you've inquired further, apparently as to the system upgrade, if possible...

    "I have another question:
    Can I change on this computer Mac book inch early 2008 Mac OS X Lion

    10.7.5 to more advanced software to my computer, or is it impossible?"

    ... through the information available online and from Apple support sources,

    your MacBook4.1 is not capable of running more recent than OS X Lion 10.7.5.

    If you need to use a newer browser, the Mozilla Firefox works well & is supported in your Mac.

    info from http://mactracker.ca specification application about your MacBook 13-inch Early 2008:

    Introduced    February 2008

    Maximum OS    Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion)

    Built-in Memory    None

    {While the computer you have may/have been able to run an older version of Windows OS

    via an earlier version of Boot Camp utility, the results may or may not be satisfactory by

    most modern measure of expectation. Also, there are some Unix or custom Linux for Mac

    versions that could be run in the hardware, these would require you learn about them first.}

    Those options are different than using Mac OS X. And would require research, if interested.

    Your computer build series model is dated and considered obsolete at this point in time.

    There are ways to make it run better, with the old vintage software still available to you.

    One would be to find a replacement hard disk drive of 7200-RPM and larger capacity in

    storage, then also consider upgrade to more RAM memory (in chip) capacity.

    {My old MacBook1.1 runs better with a RAM upgrade & a larger + faster rotational hard

    disk drive, it has limits; mine cannot run any OS X newer than Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8.}

    So, this appears to mean the answer would be 'no' to that question... And again, so sorry!

    Hopefully there are other more recent MacBook or MacBook/Pro models available to you.

    Good luck & happy computing!

    Thank you for the supportive feedback to my meager effort

    to supply some kind of helpful response to your inquiries...

    Although I have used the translate from google, to read your

    post contents, I'm not certain of it being accurate enough to

    translate my poor american-english to a semblance of my

    original thoughts; so I have not attempted to supply one here.

    Hard enough to find words and get the keyboard to work LOL!

    By using google translate to hobble through, it tells me that you wrote:

    "Thank you for your response, you helped me a lot, as a newcomer to users MacBook."

    And I appreciate this... Sometimes a topic never gets revisited, so

    nobody knows beyond perhaps one or two replies, if anything helped.

    Oh, for other information about the computer model(s) involved some

    useful information with pictures may be found in the iFixit.com guides

    for Mac. The older macbook (2006 to 2010) and the latest 12-inch

    2015 macbook with retina display appear there; as do other models.

    In the bottom section in most any Apple support article, is a link to select

    country, in those (that I've found, that is) you can choose a country and

    the same article from there, appears in the corrected language of the

    chosen country; where available. I've not tried very many, this way.

    {Some of the information available from specific sources may not have

    an official non-english web page; however sometimes it is possible to

    translate the entire page. There remains a percentage of error, though.}

    In any event... hopefully this will also help others who happen across it.

    Good luck & happy computing!
