Jan 15, 2016 7:11 PM in response to spulaskarby Jake3231,Just to clarify, this is an Apple product? If it is, it should just work... It looks like the adapter should show up as a network interface in the side bar, is that correct?

Jan 15, 2016 11:28 PM in response to Jake3231by spulaskar,Yeah, I agree it should show up; but it does not. I can use USB to ethernet adapter at work to connect to internet, but I can't use it at home on a different adapter. I read online to that I have to add "USB Ethernet" to Network Preferences, but can't seem to find the option.

Jun 3, 2016 8:02 AM in response to spulaskarby NickBlack,I also am having exactly the same problem with my Apple USB ethernet adapter. It appears from googling that Yosemite doesn't support the USB ethernet drivers yet due to security reasons.
This is annoying. Apple should not sell them if they're not compatible.
