Q: airdrop between iMac and iPhone 6s

Hi, I have an iMac 2013 using OSX El Capitan and an iPhone 6s iOS 9.2, I am trying to send files from my iMac to the iOS device using AirDrop but I am not able to see the iPhone in the AirDrop window, I am closer than 2 meters, wifi and bluetooth turned on, is possible to make this connection? But if I want to send files from my iPhone the the iMac, I can using airdrop.
