How do I fix the KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (AppleSSD.sys) error in boot camp

on a new 21.5 inch iMac with the Windows 10 PRO OS.  I have 500G allocated to Windows and I have

16 G of ram on this system.  It has happened several times during the past week.

AppleSSD.sys is a SCSI driver. Can you remove the driver from Device Manager and test?

I experienced this same problem but have found a solution.

    1. use Boot Camp Assistant to download the Windows Support files

    2. copy the folder to a flash drive

    3. boot into Windows

    4. locate the Windows Support files folder on the flash drive

    5. run 'setup.exe'

    6. the installer will offer to Repair the installation, click Repair

Windows will automatically restart on completion of the repair. This took a considerable time on my iMac.

Hope this works for you too.
