Q: My iMac Mail application is crashing at launch after upgrading to 10.10.5. How do I reinstall the application or what can I do to fix this problem? Don't care about recovering any lost email.

My iMac mini (Late 2014) 2.6GHz, i5, with 8 GM ram, Mail application is crashing at launch after upgrading to 10.10.5. Doesn't seem to be much available information on the topic, doing google searches or this forum.

Application repeatedly crashes at launch. I've tried deleting /Library/Containers/com.apple.mail folder & com.apple.MailServiceAgent as one post recommended with no remedy.

How do I reinstall the application (assuming that it needs re-installation) or what can I do to fix this problem? Don't care about recovering any lost email.
