Q: iTunes 12.3.1.23 cannot load iOS devices because supported software not installed?

Today I upgraded iTunes from 12.3.0.44 to 12.3.1.23 on Windows 10 x64, and when I tried connecting my iOS devices(including iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPad Air) this screen popped out:

I had encountered no issues like this while using the 12.3.0.44 version. It seems that the "AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi" wasn't correctly installed or not properly functioning. I tried reinstall the latest version of iTunes but it didn't work. Looking for help with this issue.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.1

OK I finally found the solution:

    1. Use the software such as "Universal Extractor" to unpack the "AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464.msi"

    2. Look for the \USBDrivers and \NetDrivers in the directory \AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support, copy all files of usbDrivers into C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbaapl64.inf_amd64_14c8400756ec 0e3b and all files of netdrivers into C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\netaapl64.inf_amd64_56f23639c961 7984, keep these two folders when installing the new iTunes software and support drivers

    3. Now try to reinstall AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464.msi, the problem should be solved by now

I still don't know what is the mechanism that cause this problem, but looks like it works instead of completely reinstalling the whole Windows OS~~~~

    i found the solution

    1.go to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

    2. you will have 1 of following folders 1.netaapl64.inf or 2.usbaapl.inf

    3. check what is  missing inside it d folder

    4. u should have 4 types of files in the folder .inf , .PNF , .sys , .dll

    4 . download d missing files from http://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=1932191

5.extract d zip file copy the missing files n paste in d folder

    6.now try to install

7.after installing ,again uninstall everything itunes ,apple application support 32 and 64,bonjour,apple mobile device support and apple software update

    8. install itunes again

    this worked for me !!
