Q: Why won't iMac with 10.7.5 stay connected to Verizon iPhone 6s wifi hotspot

I cannot maintain a constant wifi connection to my wifi personal hotspot since changing to new iphone6s phone. My iMac will work with a hotspot on my wife's Samsung Galaxy but not with my iPhone. My iPad works fine with the new iPhone Lost?
