Q: updating apps created from an old email address which is not in use anymore

created from an old email address which is not in use anymore

I am trying to update purchased apps that were created when I had a different email and password. I no longer have access to that email address, nor do I remember the old password. Any ideas? Thanks. Penny

Then you won't be able to update that app.

Either don't update or delete the app and install it with your current apple id.  Data maybe lost doing so.

Apps are always associated with the Apple ID used to download or purchase the app. If you can't enter that Apple ID and its password your best option is to delete the apps as razmee209 suggests and download new versions using your current Apple ID. Keep in mind though that you will have to repurchase any apps that have a fee.

THanks for your prompt response.  Yes, I figured that was the case, but was hoping otherwise.
