Q: Help with Timelapse section

VERY New to FCPX and video editing in general... Need some assistance PLEASE

So I have imported a series of still images to make a time lapse clip inside a project which is working fine. I want to use this section among some other traditional HD video clips. I have noticed that the color temp seems to be a bit cooler in the T-lapse area and I'd like to adjust it so that it matches / blends better. What is the best way of doing this:

- Adjust all the images inside a still editor like Lightroom (they were shot as jpeg unfortunately) before importing into FCPx

- Import the stills (as I've done) and color correct them together inside FCPx directly (not sure how to do this).

- Render the T-laspe as a ProRes422 video clip and then add it back into a project and deal with color correction that way...

Am I totally out to lunch here, again VERY NEW to this... any assistance much appreciated.. Glen

AAny one of those methods will work, whichever you're most comfortable with. Personally I prefer to create video files from image sequences before importing them into FCP. You can do this with Compressor, Motion, MPEG Streamclip and other software. If you used to working with graphics applications you can correct the images before importing them or converting them.
