Jan 20, 2016 2:50 PM in response to Elle_51by AJ397,Connect it to the charger and try again, otherwise see below.
"If you get a message that says "an error occurred downloading iOS," try again later. If this happens again, try updating your device using another network or use iTunes to update your device." -Copied from Get help with over-the-air iOS updates - Apple Support

Jan 20, 2016 2:52 PM in response to Elle_51by sberman,If that happened to me, I would try these two things (in order):
- Restart the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home keys together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Then try the installation again.
- If the above failed, check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage. Make sure you have an absolute minimum of 10% of the iPhone's total storage free.

I have tried both those options. As far I can tell, I've enough space and I've restarted 3 times now.

Jan 20, 2016 2:56 PM in response to AJ397by Elle_51,Hi Ajay397,
I tried that and it still won't update. I've been advised by several other iphone users to back up and reset everything so I'll try to update via itunes tonight and if that does not work, then I'll try the reset option.
