Jan 20, 2016 5:44 PM in response to GRlMMLlNby Loner T,On the 2012 MBPs, the standard method for Windows is an MBR. The BCA installer will create an MBR, and boot from the legacy Windows installer and install Windows. In case a user manually boots from the USB installer, they can choose the Windows or EFI Boot icon. Specifically on 2012 MBPs, which are preUEFI, EFI boot will not work properly. The Audio devices do not show up unless CSM-BIOS is invoked.
Is it possible to re-install Windows 10 without deleting the MBR this time?

Jan 20, 2016 6:56 PM in response to GRlMMLlNby Loner T,Try to restore the disk to a single partition using BC Assistant first. It also re-arranges the Recovery HD to be at the end and merges the BC part back into OS X.

Jan 20, 2016 7:45 PM in response to Loner Tby GRlMMLlN,I'm sorry I don't quite understand, the panics? If I understand you correctly, I should restore the disk to a single partition using BCA. Then re-run BCA and go through the normal install process?

Jan 20, 2016 7:58 PM in response to GRlMMLlNby Loner T,I had this discussion confused with another. .
Yes, remove Windows using BCA (if it will let you) and re-install as normal.

Jan 20, 2016 9:40 PM in response to Loner Tby GRlMMLlN,Okay I removed Windows using BCA. Created a bootable USB install of Windows 10 on a USB3 flash drive, then rebooted. Tried booting into Windows this time, instead of EFI Boot, however, all I saw was an error message: "No bootable media -- insert media and press any key" if I remember correctly. Do I need to put in a disk as well?
