Q: Does anyone know how to determine which songs were imported as "lossy" and then converted to "lossless" so that I can delete them and re-install as "lossless" ?

Does anyone know how to determine which songs were imported into iTunes from CD as "lossy" and then converted to "lossless" so that I can delete them and re-install as "lossless" ?

    HI,

    Make a smart playlist based on file type being AAC audio file or MPEG audio file. Or you could use bit rate being less than 321 Kbps.

     

    Is it your intention to reimport the original CDs as Apple lossless as converting the lossy files will not improve quality.
