Dec 29, 2015 8:38 AM in response to kgemby rkaufmann87,System Preferences will set this up. Apple explains how to do this in Mac Basics: Display a screen saver when you're not using your Mac - Apple Support If you need further assistance this is a good time to use your free 90 days of AppleCare telephone support. If you don't know about that please click http://www.apple.com/support/complimentary/

Dec 29, 2015 8:39 AM in response to kgemby dialabrain,Just to hazard a guess, are your photos in a shared folder or saved to iCloud etc?
The screensavers may only work with a local folder.

Dec 29, 2015 9:04 AM in response to rkaufmann87by kgem,Yes, I know how to set up the screen saver with photos. The problem is regardless of which folder I select to use for the images in the screen saver the folder will not load. The screen goes black and it says lauding file ( this typically takes a moment) and it never loads. I have tried 10 different folders. Nothing will load. Additionally the error message keeps popping up saying there is a problem connecting to server " storage". And I do not have a server labeled storage. Additionally I have been on the phone with Mac support for 90 minutes and made no progress. Any ideas?

Jan 21, 2016 7:29 AM in response to kgemby kgem, just in case anyone runs into this same problem i feel i should post an update. We had to take the issue to apple engineers. it took us about 2 1/2 weeks but the engineers and a manager named Adam saved the day and figured it out. If you are ever in a similar situation Adam was a GREAT resource.
