Mac OS XIf "music list" is your iTunes music library, no. The playlist is just a list of songs that are in your iTunes music library, selected by you and placed in a desired order. A song on playlist cannot exist there if it's not in your iTunes music library. If you delete a song on playlist from your music library, it disappears from your playlist.

I have downloaded an album and had to rearrange the songs on it.
You can arrange them however you want.
I made a playlist and put it all in the correct order.
Why did you create a playlist for them?
Am I now able to delete the songs in the music list as they are not in the correct order
No, you cannot delete them. Why not just sort them how you want?
