Q: If i have built a playlist can i remove the songs from the music list without deleting the play list

I have downloaded an album and had to rearrange the songs on it.  I made a playlist and put it all in the correct order.  Am I now able to delete the songs in the music list as they are not in the correct order

    If "music list" is your iTunes music library, no.  The playlist is just a list of songs that are in your iTunes music library, selected by you and placed in a desired order.  A song on playlist cannot exist there if it's not in your iTunes music library.  If you delete a song on playlist from your music library, it disappears from your playlist.

    You can arrange them however you want.

    No, you cannot delete them. Why not just sort them how you want?
