Q: please advise regarding multiple library cleanup plan
(i am away from the mac currently. if more system or app specs are needed, please request.)
without having much mac knowledge i upgraded a macbook os and have ran into challenges with my picture libraries. if doctor emmett brown were selling train rides i would go back and consolidate all my iphoto libraries to one before making the os upgrade (to photos). that way my Picture folder would look something like this (courtesy of user “Old Toad”):
however, this is what i am currently stuck with:

^a mess.
i have a mess.
my goal is to permanently use the photos app and abandon iphoto as has apple. i would prefer to have a product as Old Toad referenced; one iphoto library (migrated) and one photos library. however, even after reading about iphoto and the apple photo app, my competence and understanding of manipulating all these different library types is still shaky at best.
i have come to the tentative conclusion that i should migrate the last unmigrated iphoto library then just delete all iphoto libraries and have the result of a single photos library. however before i take this proposed action:
.1. given the current status of all libraries, as indicated by the above screencaptures, this proposed action will result in all iphoto library pictures being “shifted” to the photos library, correct? i need apple pro users such as yourself to verify this as the newb is strong in this one and there are many many priceless pics involved here.
.2. is that my best option or do you recommend another train of action that could produce results such as Old Toads without a ridiculous amount of work?
thank you for your time and recommendations.
