Jan 17, 2016 11:30 AM in response to fallenx1778by Kitagrl28,SO, ever since iOS 9 my iPad 4 has not been backing up automatically. After I deleted my backup and manually backed up, I have been able to do it manually, but it still doesn't seem to back up automatically. I even get notices that it hasn't been backed up in a month or whatever.
However, today I went into settings-> iCloud-> user name (your name at the top)-> devices->this iPad and, Lo and behold, it showed an auto backup at 3am! So if that's true, it doesn't mean our devices are not being backed up. It just means there is a glitch not allowing it to show up on the actual backup screen. Check your device and see! It's still hard to trust that it is actually backing up, but it makes me feel a little better that maybe it still backs up even if we cant tell.

Jan 19, 2016 11:03 AM in response to leJuan5150by fallenx1778,Just noticed 9.2.1 was released today. Does anyone know if it's fixed the problem with the icloud backup? There's no mention of it on the web and I wanted to know if anyone has first hand experience on whether it's fixed the problem or not.
