1) Go to Desktop 1 and launch all of the apps you want to stay in that Desktop.
2) In the Dock, right-click each of the app icons and hover your mouse over Options, and inside Options select This Desktop.
That will assign that specific app to always launch and stay open in that specific Desktop. This also works if you have multiple displays or Apple TV.
3) As your workflow requires, repeat the process for any additional Desktops and apps.
Test it out by quitting an app or all of the apps. Then move to another Desktop besides any that you created above, just to prove this to yourself, then relaunch your app(s). You will find that it works great. It is not necessary to restart your Mac to test this out, but if you feel better conducting a test by restarting, then go for it.
Also, you can use the Automator app to create an app that will launch all of the these apps for you by simply launching this, one, Automator created app. The benefit is that it will launch all the apps for you, and there is a way to make it pause for whichever amount of time you require between the launching of one app to the next. If you would also like help with this, just say so, and I'll offer a quick reply.
Now if anyone can help me to resize the text in the OS X El Capitan help window(s), I would really appreciate it. I have not found anything on that, and was looking for something when I found this inquiry. LoL I simply want the font size in the help window to be larger than the default. In earlier versions of OS X there was a Toolbar menu with a gear icon on it that allowed us to change the font size in any help window, but I cannot seem to find it. Thanks!
Blessings!
