Q: why is my mail timing out?

Just recently my mail through iCloud has started to time out. I found older articles on how to resolve this problem in mail preferences but nothing recent.

Thanks! The mail connection doctor did help identify where the problem was... the iCloud IMAP not connecting to the server. At least I know where to start!
