Apr 8, 2014 2:48 PM in response to KovyRby astonsteve,None of these solutions work for me. Eversince I updated my iPhone a few weeks back, it doesn't show up on iTunes when I connect to my laptop via usb cable. All that happens is a disc drive window appears on my laptop. I've tried disconnecting wifi on my phone as suggested several times here, but that isn't going to solve anything because but like cmbolden, I can't even find summary within iTunes. All I want to do is get cd's i've uploaded to iTunes onto my iPhone.

Apr 16, 2014 10:48 PM in response to KovyRby joshWUa,It's a shame because this has been going on ever since I got my iphone 5S, it gives apple a bad name which make people wanna switch. Not me though I'm patiently waiting for a true solution because non of these solutions seem to help. To me seems to be an ios7 flaw with iTunes. Ios7 to me was a failure not to mention the corny looking icons and ugly calendar. I should of never upgraded to ios7.

Apr 20, 2014 12:54 AM in response to KovyRby MrBoore,I was having this trouble and have had a solution that worked for me. I noticed when I viewed songs in my library in list view they were un checked in the tick column. I selected all songs, right click mouse and hit "check selection". All tracks are now checked and my troubles are over. What I dont know is how or why they were all unchecked. Hope it's this simple for you.

Aug 3, 2014 10:24 AM in response to joshWUaby nomsed,I found a very SIMPLE solution to this problem! Ever since the update in NOVEMBER 2013, I haven't been able to sync [new] music onto my phone. It was only today when I was searching for a new USB cord that I got my answer! GET A NEW USB CORD! After the ios 7 update in November, some third party chargers no longer work when connected to your computer/MAC/laptop! I went out to Best Buy today, got a new $14.99 insignia USB and VOILA! I am finally able to sync my music! Soooo if you have a third party charger, you may want to grab another one. It ***** that I had to find this out on my own after almost 9 months of struggling with this issue!
I hope this helps man!

Aug 17, 2014 11:08 PM in response to KovyRby jimstadler,This is what worked for me, none of the other things in these posts worked. I restored my phone and suddenly could not sync my music. I have iTunes Match and that was the problem. I turned off iTunes Match in iTunes (under the control drop down) and I turned it off on my phone (Setttings, Music, turn off iTunes Match). I then synced, and yeah! I messed with this on and off for days. I cursed Apple and swore I was going to the dark side. Shame on Apple for not having a fix or easy to understand work-around. I was sitting around downloading my music from the cloud...I was on the 'D's in a 6500 song library!

Jan 4, 2015 6:29 PM in response to KovyRby NMGPRO,I have 5s and iTunes 12.
I may have found at least a band aid fix, your phone need to be connected via USB (at least that's how it worked on mine)
1. On Summary Options check "Sync only checked songs and videos" and "Manually manage music and videos".
2. Go to songs under "On my device" on the left side.
3. Highlight all the songs and delete them.
4. Go to Main list of songs and highlight what ever you want on your phone.
5. Drag them to the left until the devices appear on your screen. Now drag them to your phone.
The music immediately began syncing to my phone.
Hope this helps, I know nothing else was working for me.

Apr 6, 2016 1:48 PM in response to KovyRby Paddu3981,Guys i came across the same problem I found the solution for this.
Just check with the installed software you have done in your system.
Remove unwanted or temporary s/w like Visual studios, VMWare, virtual mechine, SAP servers or additional Secruity anti virus.
It will then start sync.
