Q: Importing sim contacts iphone 6 error

Hello everyone, i just bought an iphone 6 and i put my sim card on, and i was trying to import contacts from the option in mail, calendar & contacts, when i press the button "import SIM contacts" just shows an popup saying "importing sim contacts" for like 1-2 seconds and when i go to comtacts there is no contact imported. I have the latest iOS, all the contacts on sim are named with A-Z characters. If anyone could help me i'd be very grateful. Thank you.
