Q: Macbook pro freezes after connecting to internet

Ive had issues for a while where MB would freeze within 2 mins of start up.

Took it to a repair shop today and had 0 issues.. couldn't get it to freeze if I had to.

I determined that after connecting to internet at home.. the freezing occurs soon after, while either on internet or opening applications. Computer does not freeze at home if I have wifi off.

Any idea?

Other laptops run fine here at home on the internet.. no other issues with any other device other than my MB

The two items you found in keychain access are the same as I have. It makes no difference if you delete them or not.

I had this problem too.  Tried everything listed - re-install, etc.

The problem is caused when connecting to new routers that support IPV6. The solution is to turn off support for IPV6 in Network Settings. Do it for all network connections to the internet.  My MBP running 10.6.8 Snow Leopard runs like a dream again!
