Q: How do I sync 'Local Items' keychain password without First Aid?

I changed my AppleID password.  It's working on all my devices, except when I start my Macbook (10.11.3) - the 'Local Items' keychain is still using the old password - which I have to enter about 15 times when logging in.

I want to run Keychain First Aid to synchronise the passwords, but this option has been removed.

I tried unticking System Preferences / iCloud / Keychain, restarting and then turning iCloud / Keychain back on, but the passwords are still different.

What should I do?

MacBook, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Please sign out of iCloud in its preference pane and sign back in with the new password. No data will be removed from the servers, and you can retrieve it by signing back in. That said, you should always have a current archive of the data for safety's sake, even if you don't sign out.

If you use iCloud Keychain, when you sign back in to iCloud follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set it up on an additional device.

Thanks - I left it entire day trying to sign out, so I guess something else was not happy.  I ended up deleting the user account and adding it back.

    Thanks again for your help.
