It sounds like you are looking to enable iTunes Match on your Apple TV. You can sign into iCloud Music Library with your Apple ID in the Settings on the device to turn it on:
In Settings
, go to Apps > Music.Turn on iCloud Music Library. Turn on iCloud Music Library to access all your music from Apple Music, your iTunes purchases, and songs uploaded from your computer, along with your iTunes Match library. To learn more about iTunes Match, go to Subscribe to iTunes Match.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Jan 26, 2016 12:23 PM in response to sterling rby Henry Cline1,I have an ATV2, no Apps.
In the Settings ->iTunes Store settings on my ATV2 there is a "iTunes Match" toggle, which I turned on, but nothing happened (I am a current music match user and running it on my desktop iTunes)
I have been using "Home Sharing", but my desktop has to be on in order to have that working and I would love to avoid that if possible.

Jan 28, 2016 11:59 AM in response to Henry Cline1by sterling r,Thank you for the update! Next I would quit both the Settings and the Music apps on the Apple TV:
If you have an Apple TV (4th generation), double press the Home button and swipe left or right to find the app with the issue. Swipe up on the app to close it and press Menu to return to the Home screen.
Then restart the Apple TV and try again:
Restart Apple TV. Do any of the following:
-
Press and hold the
and Home
buttons until the Apple TV status light blinks rapidly. -
Disconnect Apple TV from the power outlet, wait five seconds, then reconnect it.
