Jan 27, 2016 12:48 AM in response to willpigmeu.lby willpigmeu.l,Actually, the system boots. I had the wi-fi hotspot turned on and my phone just connected to it, which means it booted up to OS X. Also, the keyboard backlight is working and I hear the chime. So, everything works, except for the screen, which is pitch black (yep, tried to shine a torch on it and nothing).

Another option is to How to install OS X on an external drive connected to your Mac - Apple Support and try to boot from the external disk.
Does OSX Internet Recovery come up if you reboot and hold Command+Opt+R?

Jan 27, 2016 4:12 PM in response to Loner Tby willpigmeu.l,I tried resetting the SMC and the NVRAM for no good.
The screen doesn't turn on so OSX Internet Recovery does not come up (it's been 5 minutes and still a black screen)..
Also, that's the only Mac I have access to at the moment.
