Jan 29, 2016 10:54 AM in response to LubosNLby Demo,★HelpfulIf you could explain exactly what happens when you try to create the backup, it would really be helpful. For instance, does the backup start and then give you a message that the backup can not be completed? Does the backup start at all?

Jan 29, 2016 12:15 PM in response to LubosNLby Demo,I Had the same problem back in October - I'm sure that you saw my post in that discussion - and I just kept trying and trying until it finally worked. Were you ever able to backup to iCloud?
Try another WiFi network, try turning WiFi off, restart the device, then turn WiFi on again, delete your backups and try again.

Get help backing up your device in iCloud - Apple Support
I know that it took me a few days before I was able to finally get my devices to backup again. I had been using iCloud backups for a couple of years and it just quit working shortly after updating to iOS 9.
You could try resetting all settings. Sometimes that can clear up corrupt settings that can cause problems. I don't know if it will help or not.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. No data is lost when you do this, but all device settings have to be entered again, including your WiFi network passwords.
