Read How do I fix the date on my iPad calendar. My son set it to the year 2055 BE for a possible solution.

I can get to the current date but it still displays the wrong year which like I said, renders my apps using wifi or data completely useless. The longest it has lasted was from 9:00pm last night until 2 pm today when it corrected itself

If you cannot contact http://www.apple.com/support/contact/ , I would consider How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups - Apple Support.

I try to remain optimistic. And, to be fair, the article linked to above had outdated instructions.
