Q: iOS 9.2.1 upgrade error

When trying to upgrade to iOS 9.2.1 from 7.1.2 I get the following error:

Software Update Failed

An error occurred downloading iOS 9.2.1

I tried downloading twice on different wifi networks and I get the same error.Please help!

Try connecting iPhone to your computer iTunes 12.3.2 and update from there.

So I tried that and I got a new error on iTunes that I need to have at least 770 MB of free space on my iPhone to upgrade. I'm gonna be busy deleting apps and stuff for awhile...

Not only that you also need some space for your apps to run smoothly.
Generally about 2 to 4 GB free space.
