Q: Will battery recharging cut itself when fully charged?
Hello,
i could not find this question so I'm sorry u guys were solving this.
I am just interested about my Macbook Air 13, when i fully charge notebook and keep plugged in power is it still trying to recharge like from 99% to 100% or it will cut off battery, and keep working like plugged in power?
I am asking because it's my first macbook, and notebooks like asus for example can remove battery to save it when u are playing for example, but MacBooks can't.
Thank You and hope y'all can understand my poor english.
Have a nice and successful day.

When the battery is fully charged the Mac will run only from incoming power and the battery will not be charged further. Once the battery has self-discharged to about 98% it will be topped up. You can safely run the Mac on power as long as you like without damaging or overcharging the battery. However it's not advisable never to use the battery - if you don't normally work away from a power supply you should occasionally run the battery about 2/3 down (not further) to 'exercise' it. Try to avoid ever discharging the battery completely.
