Q: Problem iMac 27inch late 2012  turn off randomly

Hi, my iMac shuts down randomly for no reason. I try to turn it on and don't  works. Now unplug the socket for a few minutes and the iMac magically turns on again. I encountered this problem for some time and also some stains on the screen. I have reported this issue to Apple and they replaced the screen even if out of warranty and they did all the hardware-test possible and left on for several days and found no shutdown. They have specified that maybe it's a software problem.  The iMac is connected to an APC UPS and thought that was the problem, but even excluding the ups the problem recurs. I enclose the etrecheck-report as a discussion from ditocura https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6832695?start=0&tstart=0 .

If anyone has an idea what might be and how to fix this problem would be grateful!

A panic report would be more helpful than the EtreCheck in these cases Mac OS X: How to log a kernel panic - Apple Support

But sort of a panic report I would suspect the Traktor and Shazam audio software and the robohippo software.

Try uninstalling the software I mentioned above, if the problem continues and you need those you can reinstall.

Also run the Apple Hardware Test in extended mode 2-3 times to see if it reports an error Using Apple Hardware Test - Apple Support

Your Time Machine isn't working right either. It looks like the last backup was in 2014.

    1. The software I mentioned has not been uninstalled.

    2. Disconnect the external hard drives to test.

    3. There are two "unknown files" in the Unknown Files section, click "check files" to check them.
