Apple TVThe service has been withdrawn. You can't re-discover it by subscribing to Apple Music.

Jan 30, 2016 9:27 AM in response to Winston Churchillby Barry Drake,Then why do I have it back on my laptop and iPhone and it returned after I signed up for the free 3 month service? I assumed that if I signed up for the "for pay" iTunes Music service, it would be available on ALL my devices. Laptop, iPhone AND my Apple TV as it was in the past!

Apple TVApple music has it's own radio stations.

Jan 31, 2016 6:08 AM in response to Winston Churchillby LPM1,Yes, and the radio options show in the Music app on iphones, etc.., but i don't see any radio features within Music on AppleTV. Surely there must be a way to get Radio features through Apple TV(?).

Jan 31, 2016 6:17 AM in response to LPM1by Winston Churchill,I believe there are quite a few alternative radio apps on the Apple TV App store.

Jan 31, 2016 6:27 AM in response to Winston Churchillby LPM1,Doesn't seem right at all that the same features would not be available on Apple TV when they are on other devices. Huge disappointment with Apple's decision on this. Seems to go against one of the fundamental platforms of continuity between Apple products, especially since it downgrades Apple TV.

Jan 31, 2016 6:36 AM in response to LPM1by Winston Churchill,I'm afraid you have lost me, I see Apple music radio stations in the music app on the Apple TV 4.

Jan 31, 2016 7:02 AM in response to Winston Churchillby LPM1,I just read your response to another thread about it not being available on ATV 3. I have to disagree with your response that suggests no one has a right to expect backward compatibility with Apple products when compatibility is a tenant of Apple products. True, that doesn't extend forever, but in this case we're not talking back to several generations. So be it, but it leaves a bunch of Apple customers frustrated.

Jan 31, 2016 10:15 AM in response to LPM1by msverruto,I AGREEE. THIS IS ABSOLUTE APPLE HERESY. It is ONE thing to not be able to have FULL feature set available due to missing hardware capability or support - but THIS is NOT acceptable, as I have PAID for the SERVICE....it is simply being cut off from parts of my hardware and that is NOT apple like at ALL!!>!>!>!>!!>! ***?
As a hint of merit, I have 2 new 4th gen TVs 4, and 8 3rd gens. I subscribed to MUSIC day, one, have the Family sharing plan and this feels absolutely like a slap in the face.

Jan 31, 2016 12:18 PM in response to msverrutoby Barry1012,I completely agree - I have never seen Apple basically FORCE ME TO BUY A NEW PRODUCT to retain standard functionality. Is Apple turning into Microsoft? VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Feb 2, 2016 9:50 AM in response to LPM1by dogstarnyc,I AGREE!!! I just tried to play music last night on my Gen3 ATV and saw that iTunesMusic was not there and am absolutely FURIOUS.
Why should we be forced to upgrade hardware when said hardware is still for sale in the Apple Store. I pay for Apple Music!!!
Yes, visions of Microsoft...this is not the Apple I grew up with.
F U R I O U S , not disappointing

Jun 3, 2016 8:51 AM in response to Barry Drakeby anderji,Do you have the Playlist icon at the bottom of your screen (and no Radio icon)? There is a choice to show your Playlists, OR Radio but not both (as of June 2016).
If you want the Radio icon: Go to Settings, Music and UNcheck the "Add Playlist Songs to My Music". Reopen Music and the Radio icon comes back.
If you want Playlists icon: Go to Settings, Music and CHECK "Add Playlist Songs to My Music"" button. Reopen Music and the Playlist icon shows up where the Radio icon was.
