The USB port on the Time Capsule cannot be used to connect the Time Capsule to the computer for use with Time Machine. You will need to either find or reset your password for the Time Capsule. If you open the Airport Utility application, you can choose Show Passwords from the Base Station menu. Otherwise, you can reset the Time Capsule to change the password.
