Q: my sons iPad is acting up. currently when he goes to the app store the screens are blank. He can't purchase any games update the one and only game he has. I have tried the refresh trick with no luck.

My sons iPad is acting up. The app store has all blank screens. I have tried to refresh it and force close it. I have also tried signing him out with his apple id and it won't let me. Last resort was to erase all content and settings but I get a Verification Failed, there was an error connecting to the Apple ID server. I just want to be able to purchase more games for him to play. Thank you in advance.

Hey k2mom,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like there's an issue downloading apps from the App Store on your son's iPad, and there may also be an issue with over-the-air iOS updates. If you haven't already, try restarting the iPad as described here:

If the issue persists, you can try restoring the iPad as shown in the article below.
