Q: iphone is threatening to delete my photos, why?

In my iPhone 6 plus iOS 9.2.1 my iCloud Photo Library is giving me the message "iCloud Photo Library will be deleted from iCloud in 13 days. Choose download and keep originals below to download a complete copy of you photos and videos."

Why? I have 923 GB storage available.

Do you still have Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library turned on in your phone or other device?

I have 23,000 photos. I am going to try and move the older ones to a Seagate drive and completely remove them from my iCloud and see if that elevates the issue.

Based on the message, it sounds like you did this... which wouldn't have been by accident. Did you mean to remove all content?
