If you attempted to download an IPSW file yourself instead of letting iTunes pull the correct file, delete it and let iTunes pull the correct file from the servers.
If you ever used that machine to jailbreak or attempt to jailbreak an iOS device, you likely have entries in the host file that are preventing iTunes from being able to authenticate to Apple's update servers to verify the firmware you have is valid and signed.
